Playlist Growth

Learn how to grow your Spotify playlist with Galaxy: how playlist levels are set, how playlist quality is vetted and how to report suspicious playlists.

The best way to grow a playlist is through Meta Ads campaigns.

  • Self-managed: You can develop and grow your playlists completely on your own.
  • Dedicated service: If you would like our support, we offer a playlist growth service.

Every playlist has a specific Level that determines the estimated monthly listeners it can guarantee:

  • Bronze: 50–100 monthly listeners
  • Silver: 100–250 monthly listeners
  • Gold: 300+ monthly listeners

How the estimate is calculated

Since we cannot get the exact data for each playlist, we produce an indicative estimate by cross-referencing:

  • Advanced playlist analysis tools
  • Statistics shared by artists via Spotify for Artists
  • Internal algorithms based on the playlist's growth and trends

Calculation method

The estimate is not based on the top positions; it is calculated using the range between position 15 and 50.

During the 30-day Match period, a track initially placed at position 15 will gradually drift lower. Since a lower position generates fewer streams, our algorithms account for this variation in advance to produce a fair, realistic value.

Soundvertise playlist levels

We approve and keep active only playlists we consider organic, active and free of any bot activity or listener inactivity.

Analysis & verification

  • Internal algorithms: We constantly check the statistics and growth patterns of playlists.
  • Spotify for Artists: When needed, we request in-depth data directly from the artist's dashboard.
  • External tools: We use advanced data-analysis tools to monitor stream quality.
